AIHorde.net Updates
We need your support

Before I get to the homepage updates, I want to put out a call out for image workers. We have had dips to as low as 4 active workers in the past week. We understand that running workers takes time, effort and expense, but if you have the resources and the willingness, we could really use your support today!

More on running an Image Worker

The AIHorde.net website has gotten some improvements, mostly to do with clarification terms, using less jargon where possible, and explaining what it is the service actually does. This includes changes to wording, the addition of a "glossary" button in the lower right, "Page Guides" and many on-hover popups for in-context explanations.

The FAQ now has a table of contents

The "page guides" have been reworked and the GUIs & Tools now default to cards for readability.

"Your Generations" tab on the account page

There is also now a "Your Generations" tab on the account page which may help certain users recover "lost" generations. Additionally, depending on the website or app you use, only some of the information about the request might be shown. If you are trying to figure out why a generation is not returning the way you expect, you might be able to get more information about your request by clicking "View Response JSON":

An example JSON response for a generation

Which will show the complete response for the generation and might include more information than is shown on the app or website you use the Horde through. There is now also a "Quick Image Generator", which is meant for quick testing of the Horde or for simple purposes. f you would like access to full functionality, we recommend using another website or app listed on our homepage.

The new mission page.

As a reminder, our mission is to provide generative AI and other frontier technologies to the public, free of charge. We can only do this through the efforts of volunteer effort and donations. There are now additional calls for support depending on the state of the network. At the time of writing, we are in need of image and alchemy workers:

We understand that there is effort and costs associated with running a worker and we fully appreciate everyone who does run one. If you have not looked into it lately, we ask that you consider running a worker today. If you ever have issues, join us on our discord community or post an issue in the correct GitHub repository.

Finally, we ask that, due to issues with certain other services, that all donations be made on https://haidra.net/donate/.
