Imagine a world where advanced technologies are accessible to all, not just a privileged few. At Haidra, we're making this vision a reality by enabling the sharing of spare computing resources, particularly GPUs, to support those who can't typically afford them.

The Problem: Wasted Potential Consider a video editor who relies on a powerful GPU to render their work. While essential for their job, the hardware sits idle for much of the day - a cutting-edge tool relegated to downtime. Across the globe, countless GPUs in personal computers remain underutilized, their capabilities untapped.
Our Solution: The AIHorde is our answer to this waste of potential. By allowing individuals to donate their spare GPU time, we create a pool of computing power that those in need can harness. Our "kudos" system ensures equitable access while preventing abuse.

How It Works:
1. Contribute: Donors install our software, allowing others to use their idle GPUs. In exchange, they earn "kudos" based on the compute time they provide.
2. Request: Users needing GPU power, such as students, researchers, or artists, should submit their image and text generation requests to the AI Horde. Requesting costs "kudos", but you can never go negative.
3. Priority: Those with more kudos have higher priority access. But even at a lower priority, the AI Horde eventually gets to your request.

Contributors make a meaningful impact by donating a resource that would otherwise go to waste. If they need the Horde, they go first and can harness extraordinary resources for a time. The rest of the time, those who cannot afford strong GPUs get to use the system for free.

Get Involved: AI Horde is here for you whether you have spare GPU cycles to contribute or not. Sign up to the AI Horde to get started.
