User profile management and Worker/Model details now on AIHorde.net

Three windows with abstract diagonal streaks. Create with Flux Schnell through the AI-Horde.

The AI-Horde has always been a community effort. Early on, the aihorde.net website was a bare-bones landing page with a brief explanation of the service and a "Register" link for generating an API key. We relied primarily on third-party integrators to create websites, bots and other applications to serve as the primary way for users interacted with the Horde through our API.

In June 2024, a volunteer by the name of RikudouSage created the first version of a more modern website for us. This initial version was a huge improvement in terms of aesthetics and the landing experience for first-time users. While I have made a few tweaks to the content on our official fork over the year and a half since then, it has largely stayed the same.

A frequent pain point for new users is that it is not clear where or how to start using the Horde. Further, once they do begin using Horde-based services, it was not clear how to manage their account or use other specific features - for example, shared keys or authoring styles. To address these issues, I set out to provide more "official" features directly on aihorde.net.

New Profile Page

... and so I did! There is now an "Account" menu on the top navigation bar that allows you to log in. Once you are authenticated, you can view information about your account, including kudos usage and your aggregate worker contributions. There is also a way to view a list of your workers, styles, and shared keys as well as a way to manage all three! This includes toggling maintenance mode, creating shared keys and managing styles.

There is now also an "Active Details" section which allows you to view basic information about workers currently active in the Horde, models, usage statistics, styles and a Kudos Leaderboard.

I hope that these changes will improve the experience of using the Horde for both new and existing users.

As always, we rely on volunteer effort and community input to keep the AI-Horde project alive. If you have any suggestions, bug reports or feedback, please feel free to share it through our official discord or on the github page for the website.

We are always seeking volunteers to contribute to any of our projects or to create their own integrations within the AI-Horde ecosystem. You can find us on github. We encourage would-be contributors to be bold and to do what excites them. We are an open platform and welcome any pull requests, large and small.
