Haidra now accepts donations through haidra.net.

Since the AI Horde has been a SaaS from day one, along with being something anyone can self-host, being able to cover the server costs was a primary focus to avoid burdening myself too much for a hobby project. So I had repurposed my patreon account to accept donations to cover these costs.
However, with the finalization of Haidra as a proper non-profit entity, we were finally able to open a bank account which meant that we can open a Stripe account, which means we can use the built-in Ghost features to accept subscriptions!
Simply provide your email to haidra.net to subscribe. The free subscription will provide a subscription to this newsletter, but if you also select a monthly payment, this will go directly to the Haidra asbl and will be used to cover our server and hardware costs.
As a reward for helping us keep the lights on, like with patreon, we provide a kudos incentive along with recognition on our main site. Due to the AI Horde not storing any personal information however, this requires an extra step from your end. After you've subscribed via stripe, you need to send us an email with your horde ID, from the email you used. We will then manually connect these two services which will allow you to receive your kudos every month.
I'm hoping in the future we can setup a more seamless way to provide the subscription rewards as well as other future benefits we might add, so if you have ideas or experience on that issue, feel free to reach out to help us improve.
Our overarching aim is to make this site the primary crowdfunding destination for the AI Horde and the other Haidra services, so if you're donating via other locations such as Github and Patreon, please do consider switching to haidra.net instead.
